Q: When are the elections?

A: Elections usually occur at either the 2nd or 3rd meeting of each semester.

Q: How do I run for a position?

A: If you're interested in running for a position, email the previous president a short message explaining why you want the position and what you hope to bring to the club after the first meeting of the semester and your names will be mentioned in the emails regarding election night. If you're unsure about running you may run from the floor on the night of elections, but your names will not be mentioned prior to that moment.

Q: Do I need to prepare a speech?
A: Yes, everyone running for a position will need to present a short 2-3 minute speech to introduce themselves and to explain why they deserves the members' votes.

Q: What happens when I get the position?
A: The duties of each position will be explained to you at either the 1st or 2nd meeting prior to elections and if you have any questions feel free to contact any of the previous E-board members listed on this page.
