EMPOWERMENT         EDUCATION        EXCELLENCE

About Us

Our meetings are designed to introduce young, aspiring executives to leading professionals in a variety of industries. We encourage open discussion and dialogue with the intention of learning from each other and challenging one another to broaden our horizons both locally and globally.   We take great pride in representing Northeastern University at intercollegiate business conferences as well as contributing to local community initiatives such as  Relay for Life and the Making Strides Walk Against Breast Cancer.  Through these experiences and many more, our members are empowered, educated, and on their way to excelling in their future endeavors.   All the while, they develop long lasting friendships, and memories to cherish.

Brief History

The Northeastern University Women in Business undergraduate club was established in the Summer of 2008 by our current club adviser, Kathryn Daniels. The club was created to provide students with a community to discuss topics such as work/life balance, making a great first impression, using social media appropriately, preparing for coop and career interviews, improving negotiation skills, mentoring, positioning oneself for success, over-coming procrastination, navigating one's career, boosting self-confidence and much more! Although, NUWIB is a relatively new club, we have grown significantly since our inception and we will continue to grow in the years to come. Please join us as we strive to not only improve ourselves personally and professionally, but to promote equality in the workplace for all! Thank you!
